DRAFTING WITH FANDRAFT

The Draft (Traditional/Regular)

In the "Regular Style" draft, teams take turns making selections in an order based on the league's predetermined draft order. Leagues can either have owners logged in and drafting remotely. Commissioner can control the entire draft and make selections on behalf of any or all of the owners, by turning on the "Commish Mode" option.

The Draft Process

  1. The owner whose turn it is to make a selection can choose a player by typing in the player search.
The “player search” area only appears for remote owners when they are on the clock.

  2. Once ready, this owner can click the “Draft Player” button and the pick is then processed.

  3. This process repeats until every team’s roster is full or the set number of rounds is complete.

  4. If the admin user is in "Commissioner Mode", he/she will have total control to pause/reset/edit the clock, and process draft picks at any time.

Commissioner Mode

When "Commissioner Mode" is turned on, the commissioner has full control over the draft. This means, as a commissioner, you can make picks on behalf of other users, edit picks, pause/play the clock, and perform nearly any function on behalf of you, the league, and any owner. This allows the ability for the commissioner to run the full draft or make necessary edits if and when the moment requires it. While in Commish Mode, remote users still have the ability to make their own picks. However, the Commissioner simply has the option to make picks on behalf of teams if they so choose.
