Starting in 2015, FanDraft will be offering a much awaited for new feature: "Multiple Team Songs".
What is a "Team Song"?
A few years ago we added the "Team Song" feature to much success. The feature allowed for a single song to be associated with each fantasy team. When a team is "on the clock", the song would immediately start playing. While this a engaging bit of media that enhanced the draft experience, it also doubles as a great auditory queue that alerts an owner to prepare for their selection. Because of the latter functionality, we have been hesitant to allow users to import more than one song. However, we've found a nice middle ground to keep the functionality, while allowing the capability for songs to not become stale.
Starting in the newest version, teams can now have up to 3 songs associated with their team. FanDraft will automatically only play the first track, that is until the user "changes song tracks". Tracks can be modified during the draft for an individual teams, or league wide. This allows for you the ability to easily swap out new music at different intervals during the draft (although we suggest just doing it one to two times).
How it Works
To change a song track, click on the options icon on the top left corner of the screen during the draft (or DRAFT > DRAFT OPTIONS). There is now a new "music icon" button available in the "DRAFT TOOLS & SETTINGS" panel. Click on this button and it will bring up the sub-panel to "Edit Music Tracks".
Once this window opens (see image on the right), you can then stop/play or change the tracks for the current team, or "Change All Audio" to make changes song track changes league wide.
You can open this panel and easily change the music at any time during the draft.
The new feature will be available to everyone in version 15.01, which is set to launch Sunday, May 3rd, 2015.
